What is Pilates?

Pilates is a physical fitness system designed and safe for all ages and fitness types. It incorporates slow and precise movements for total body conditioning. Focusing on core strength, Pilates is great for general fitness and injury rehabilitation. It also reinforces the crucial body/mind connection.

The Pilates equipment uses spring-based resistance to increase muscular strength and tone without building bulk. The fundamental focus on integrating breath with correct movements promotes improved daily posture along with an overall energized fluid feeling.
